Circa eSports bids farewell to LPN
After a year of good memories in professional Street Fighter V, Long "LPN" Nguyen and Circa eSports have agreed to a mutual separation upon the expiration of his contract. LPN's Street Fighter V career began in early beta, where his reputation for mastering several characters became his calling card once the game went live. Most recently known for taking an aggressive M. Bison into competition, LPN has also enjoyed success in the Capcom Pro Tour with Birdie and Alex.
"I enjoyed every second I spent with Long," says Hunter Specht, General Manager for Circa eSports. "He is a world class person and one of the most respected players in the community. Traits like that don’t happen on accident. My favorite memory of LPN will always be when he beat Bonchan and made that deep run at NorCal Regionals where he placed 5th.
"At the end of the day, both parties were ready to move on. We wish Long nothing but the best in his future endeavors."
Some of LPN's other 2017 accolades include 9th place finishes at CEO, DreamHack Montreal, and West Coast Warzone, and a 5th place finish at First Attack PR.
We at Circa wish LPN success in his undoubtedly bright future.
